    This Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) governs the manner in which we, IPVSecurity Ltd. (“IPVSecurity”, “the Company”, “we”, “our” or “us”) use the personal information (as defined below) that we collect, receive and store about individuals in connection with their use of the IPVSecurity website at www.ipvsecurity.com (“the Website”), and the content and services provided by us.

The purpose of using the collected information is to maintain and improve the Website and the services provided therein. The Company does not combine and/or consolidate the information collected using Google Analytics with information that enables personal identification of Website users.

    This section applies to individuals located in the European Economic Area (“EEA”), the United Kingdom, and Switzerland (collectively, “EU Data Subjects”), whose personal information is processed by the Company.     1. Right of Access (Art. 15): You have the right to obtain confirmation of whether the Company processes your personal information and, if so, to receive a copy of that information along with details about how it is processed.



    2. Right to Rectification (Art. 16): You have the right to request the correction of inaccurate personal information or the completion of incomplete personal information held by the Company.



    3. Right to Erasure / “Right to be Forgotten” (Art. 17): You have the right to request the deletion of your personal information where: (a) it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected; (b) you withdraw consent and there is no other legal basis for processing; (c) you object to processing and there are no overriding legitimate grounds; (d) the data has been unlawfully processed; or (e) erasure is required to comply with a legal obligation.



    4. Right to Restriction of Processing (Art. 18): You have the right to request that the Company restrict the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances, such as when you contest the accuracy of the data or object to its processing.



    5. Right to Data Portability (Art. 20): Where processing is based on consent or on a contract and is carried out by automated means, you have the right to receive your personal information in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, and to transmit that data to another controller.



    6. Right to Object (Art. 21): You have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal information where such processing is based on the Company’s legitimate interests, including profiling. The Company will cease such processing unless it demonstrates compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, rights, and freedoms, or for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims. You may also object at any time to the processing of your personal information for direct marketing purposes.



    7. Rights Related to Automated Decision-Making (Art. 22): You have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling, which produces legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affects you, unless such processing is necessary for entering into or performing a contract, is authorized by applicable law, or is based on your explicit consent.

In complex cases where a large number of requests are received, this period may be extended by a further two months, in which case we will notify you accordingly.


    1. International Data Transfers


    The Company may transfer personal information of EU Data Subjects to countries outside the EEA, including to Israel and to third-party service providers located in other jurisdictions (e.g., cloud service providers). Such transfers will be carried out only where:


    1. The destination country has been recognized by the European Commission as providing an adequate level of protection (e.g., Israel has been recognized as providing adequate protection under EU data protection law); or



    2. Appropriate safeguards are in place, such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission (Art. 46 GDPR); or



    3. Another applicable derogation under Article 49 GDPR applies.

    1. Right to Lodge a Complaint

    1. Retention Periods


    The Company retains personal information of EU Data Subjects only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. To determine the appropriate retention period, the Company considers the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the personal information, the potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure, the purposes for which the data is processed, and whether those purposes can be achieved through other means, as well as applicable legal requirements.

    Upon expiry of the applicable retention period, personal information will be securely deleted or anonymized.

    At any time, you may choose whether to provide or disclose personal information or not. However, if you choose not to provide personal information that is mandatory, you may not be able to use the services.
